Membership types and conditions - tennis
Lyngby Tennis Klub offers the following types of memberships:
Adult
Annual membership for players
aged 25 and above.
These members are allowed to
play seven days a week all year round.
Young adult
Annual membership for players
aged 19-24.
These members are allowed to
play seven days a week all year round.
Junior
Annual membership for players
aged 18 and below.
These members are allowed to
play until 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, all day on Fridays, from 5:00 p.m. on
Saturdays and between 12:00-5:00 p.m. on Sundays. There are no restrictions on
reservation of outdoor courts 10-13.
Adult morning
Annual membership.
These members are allowed to
play until 2:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Adult winter
Semiannual membership for the
indoor season.
No restrictions on court
reservations.
Adult summer morning
Semiannual membership for the
outdoor season.
These members are allowed to
play until 2:00 p.m. on weekdays.
Passive
Annual membership for members
who want to maintain their ties to the club during periods when they are not
active themselves. This membership can be useful for any period of time when a
member is away travelling, as he/she afterwards can transfer to an active
membership without having to pay the registration fee again.
Registration fees
New members have to pay a registration fee.
Family or group discounts
When simultaneously registering a family of two adults plus at least one
child or a group of at least four adults, the registration fees are discounted
by 50%.
Observe
The membership fee is binding for the whole period and is not refundable
regardless of reason. Withdrawals are only valid from 1st May and
have to be done in writing to the club’s office.
The membership fee does not include indoor court reservation (neither
contract reservations nor individual bookings) or practice.
When registering during the year the membership fee payable will be
relative to what remains of the year until 1st May, after which the
full membership fee will be paid.
